Earth's surface is roughly 71% water. The human body is approximately 60% water. All living things need water to survive. It is only natural that we are drawn to water for more than just necessity. People have been flocking to bodies of water for fun, excitement, and ADVENTURE.
Everyone has a natural interest in having fun on the water. From enjoying a day in the sun, to finding a favorite fishing spot, or even paddling a new terrain; we want to be apart of the water. There is no better way to do all of this than on a canoe or kayak.
For the first time since the HOOVER dam was officially opened in 1958, canoe and kayak rentals will be allowed on the water. The people of central Ohio will finally be able to get on the reservoir any day or time they want.
HOOVER ADVENTURES will give people the first opportunity to rent canoes or kayaks on the Hoover Reservoir. Starting Memorial Day Weekend anyone will have the chance to reserve a boat for any time they want.
Some Hometown boys, who graduated from Westerville North High School wanted to do more for their community. From studying in different states, climbing the corporate ladder, and traveling to foreign countries, we always knew we would end up back home.
Since, day one we know we wanted to help our neighbors stay active and have fun. We found the perfect way to do that and utilize our most beautiful natural resource. While building our careers, starting our families, and living our lives, we are bringing Kayaking and Canoeing to Westerville.
